Another way to fill in your brows other than the traditional eye brow pencil is by using brow powder. Wet n Wild has an ultimate brow kit which I got my hands on sometime last year and today I will give you my thoughts about it.

About the product.

The Wet n Wild Ultimate brow kit consists of three products in one kit.  The one I have and use is in the colour Ash brown It has a darker brown shade, a light brown shade and the wax. It comes in a petit rectangular container and comes with small tweezer and an angle brush. It also has a retractable mirror. The outer casing is black (it used to be silver) at the bottom and clear on top with the branding in black.

How I use it.

I start by brushing my brows into place using a spooly and then taking an angle brush I outline my brows to the shape that I would like them to be and then I fill them out. I only use the dark brown shade. I then blend my brows for a smooth finish and clean the outlines up using a concealer.

Review

At first I did not know where to begin with this product. I was so intimidated and very comfortable in the confines of my brow pencil. I then willed myself to just try and practice and I tell you, my life has change since! When you are new at this it can be quite scary but once you get to it it’s so easy!

It is affordable and easily accessible, although I noticed that it only be found at the bigger Clicks stores. I stand corrected on this please let me know in the comment section below.

The pigmentation is very good and it blends out quite easily a that is a + for me. My only issue is that should you forget to use the wax or any other eyebrow get, you will not make it through the day as it fades and that is not a pretty site! But other than that, it is a favourite of mine and I give it a 4 out of 5.

It retails for roughly R 54.95 at Clicks.

  1. I also use this product – only the dark brown shade. I’ve actually never used the wax that it comes with…oops. I didn’t really know what it’s purpose was. I’ll try it out the next time I use it
