Full wash day routine

My hair was in need of a proper wash day with a moisture deep conditioner. On my old blog, I used to share my wash days on a weekly basis but it was never explicit. In this post I will share my full wash day routine and this will be accompanied by a video Yay

Pre poo:

On each and every wash day I pre poo my hair. I alternate between the hot oil method and the conditioner method for about 30 minutes to an hour sometimes even over night . This week however, I used the conditioner method. I prepood with Aussie 3 Minute Miracle for about 45 Minutes

On a weekly basis I shampoo my hair using a sulphate free shampoo except on the 4th week of the month which is when I Clarify my hair hair. This week I used Design Essentials Almond and Avocado Moisturizing and Detangling Sulfate free shampoo

This is by far the most important step in hair care Weekly treatments. I use a Moisturizing deep conditioner for two weeks in a monthly schedule, I use a balanced deep conditioner for one week in a monthly schedule and I use a protein treatment for one week in a monthly schedule. This week however, I used Aunt Jackie’s In control Treatment which is a moisturizing deep conditioner

Detangling and Leave in’s

I detangled before washing my hair so detangling was a smooth sail so with that said I would recommend detangling your hair before washing it. I applied aunt Jackie’s Knot on my watch Leave in conditioner and Detangled with my wide tooth comb in sections

I air dried my hair in  3 Sections and when my hair was 100% dry I mousturized and sealed and put my hair back in cornrows

And that is my basic full wash day. This method had worked for me and continues to work for me and it’s how I will keep things for now. Every now and then I do add some extra steps.

Here is a video of my full wash day. Please like, sub and share my YT channel.
