Hair Products Guide: Deep Conditioners

Deep Conditioners

I find myself having to advice and guide people on the type of products they can buy for their hair and I thought, hey why not start a hair products guide series and list accessible products in South Africa! So I will start with deep conditioners.

In my opinion, deep conditioning is the most important step in caring for your hair. It gets quiet confusing when you get to the store and have to differentiate between a moisture deep conditioner or protein or even instant and I feel that it is my duty as a hair blogger to have some sort of guide that can assist you the next time you visit those hair isles

Moisture deep conditioner will have words like Moisture, hydrate, nourish, softening and so forth. For me, a deep conditioner is something that you have to let sit on your hair be it 5 minutes or 50 minutes as long as you have to allow it to sit for a while.

[…] Moisture deep conditioner: This is the most needed of the two. It must be done more frequently but in moderation. If you are new to your hair journey though I would suggest doing it weekly and see how your hair react. If it needs more, by all means give it. if less, then listen to your hair and make it every other week. I have a post with moisture deep conditioner options available to us in south africa you can check that out here […]
