Hair Review// The Curl Company Deep Conditioning Curl Masque

I got my hands on The Curl Company Deep Conditioning Curl Masque late last year and I have used it to deep condition my hair a few times. I have used it enough times to give you a review of how I feel about it.

A bit about the product…

The Curl Company Deep Conditioning curl masque promises to nourish dry and damaged curls or waves. It contains the unique professional Curlflex, a blend of Moringa oil and Meadow foam seed oil. It is formulated to enhance and define your curls and waves.  This is a product that is formulated specially for curly or wavy hair. It says “Experts in Curls and Waves” on the packaging.  Speaking of the packaging it has a white tub container, with pink and white labelling which is quiet appealing actually.

The five dominant ingredients of this conditioner are: Aqua (Water), Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydrogenated soy and Polyglycerides.

How to use it

Step 1: smooth onto cleansed, wet hair and massage in gently.

Step 2: Leave on for 3-5 minutes

Step 3: Rinse thoroughly with warm water

I first saw this product range  on and I was drawn in so when I got the opportunity to get my hands on one of them you best believe I jumped on it. Fortunately for me I got my hands on the deep conditioner. When I got it I understood it to be a moisture DC but for me it proved to make my hair a bit stronger which is a plus in a way but it didn’t fall into what I had planned for or what the promises said. I will however use this product as a balanced deep conditioner. I love the scent it is simply beautiful! I don’t think that it is staple worthy for me but it is a handy product to have on those days when your hair is acting up and you don’t know which side of the balance is lacking.

It is available at Clicks for R199.95

Have you ever used any of the products in the curl company range? Let me know in the comment section below which one and which you would like to try.

This conditioner worked out OK for me as well, not well enough to become a staple though. Great review
