Essence has a range of Gel Nail Polish called Essence The Gel Nail Polish and I decided to try them out. I have number 17 Juicy Love which is a striking red colour and number 46 Black is Black which is pitch black. I really love black nails, I feel that they look really good against my skin tone. Red nails are so classy but I only wanted to try them out because of a very delayed FOMO.

So your hair is hidden for the winter or during your transition, how do you care for it? I have just the answer to that.
We often make the mistake of forgetting about our hair whilst we under a protective style and that is a dire mistake! I remember back when before I started taking care of my hair, I used to find that when I remove a weave or braids or cornrows done with fibre, I found that my hair was filled with knots that had some white residue, which was dirt. Ever since I started taking better care of my hair, I have never experienced that and I am going to share with you exactly how I care for my hair under protective styles
I have put my transitioning hair away in a protective style to shy away from manipulation for a bit… and the special part about this time, is that I did it all by myself! Yep! I did. I did Crotchet braids using Darling Vogue Curl hair piece.
I prepped my hair by washing and deep conditioning my hair following the routine I shared in this post.
