We all need a little MAC in our lives.
I have always wanted to have MAC products! As it is I still have a list of products that I want to get my hands on from MAC. It is one of my favourite high end products without a doubt! Granted, it is purely a result of peer pressure. Many of my friends use MAC and I have seen some beauty bloggers try some products and they always look so amazing especially their Studio Fix Fluid Foundation.
There is nothing more thrilling than realizing that you can use some makeup products for other purposes. Feels like such a steal! Thrilling!
I challenged myself to try and create a gorgeous makeup look using only 5 products. Well, excluding brows because honestly those have a life of their own. So this challenge includes Face, Eyes, highlight and contour, lips, etc.
I know right, my title is quite dramatic! That’s the effect the Garnier Micellar water has on me! Let me tell you a little more about it.
If you watched video on my YouTube channel last week, you already have all the tea. I am basically bored with my hair journey. I feel so bound by fear of experimenting and it has reached a point where I find this whole journey redundant. Don’t get me wrong, I love my hair and I love being natural but, I want to enjoy my hair too. I want to reap the rewards of this hard journey so I decided to switch it up and experiment with my hair responsibly! Starting with blow drying my hair using the tension method.
First POI of the year!! Yay! I was gifted with The Curl Company Sulphate free shampoo and conditioner as part of the Valentines day drop from Freebees Marketing and PR. I was immediately excited for the Shampoo you know sulphate free shampoo is everything for a naturalista!
Slaying doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive. For as long as you know which product to use and how, you can slay using drugstore make up. I decided to do this dramatic black Smokey eye and Glossy red lip using only drugstore affordable make up so that I can give you some ideas what to use, how and where you can get the products! Let’s get straight into it…
Picking out the perfect foundation can be quite a daunting task at first. I remember the very first time I went to go buy my first foundation. It was 2009 and the modelling agency I was signed to (We will talk about this some other time LOL) advised that I needed a photo ready foundation I can’t quite remember why. Anyway, I went and I picked out thee famous Caramel shade in the Revlon Photo Ready Foundation. Honestly speaking I don’t remember how it turned out but the point I am trying to drive home is that I didn’t know that you needed your exact match. Fast forward to 2016 when I got back into the make up scene, I was better equipped with knowledge of foundation shades and the need for the foundation to match my skin tone. It gets easier as you get to know your skin tone and undertones.
