How to slay an Afro wig/ W Bounce Essentials

I saw this wig making the rounds on Social Media and I was madly in love with it and I knew I had to try it out so you can imagine how thrilled I was when Bounce essentials sent it to me.

Bounce Essentials is an online hair store  that specialises in ethnic hair weaves, wigs, clip in’s and  puffs. Their hair ranges from Afro to blow out in both human hair and Synthetic. One thing that I noticed on their website is that they also sell Ethnic dolls with Afro hair. Totally adorable and necessary for our kids.

I received the Synthetic Afro wig in the colour 340. It is 14 inches, comes with adjustment straps and attachment combs to secure the wig.

Hair Prep:

To prep my hair for the wig I washed and Deep conditioned my hair and then braided in down.

Wigging…

I secured the wig using the adjustment straps at the back. I rarely use the combs but  you can for that extra security.

I then used my water spritz all over the wig and followed up with conditioner + water spritz  and started gently pulling at the hair in order to make it bigger. Until my desired length.

I wanted parted  a side part and pulled some hair forward for that faux fringe look

And it is as easy as that my wig was poppin!!

Review.

I was not ready for the beauty of the wig!!! I knew it was beautiful when I saw it on social media for sure but it really did exceed my expectations. It is easy to manage and looks like an actual afro. I am going to try some  heatless  styles on it and I will keep you guys in the loop!

If you would like to buy one for yourself or a friend head on over to the bounce essentials website and click away!! It is available in various colours for R 865.00

Ethnic dolls with Afro hair! This was the most charming thing I ever came across. Going through the options I feel that I might be bold enough to buy myself a synthetic afro wig and check out how it looks on me! Kudos to the blogger to bring up such a nice thing on board.
