Wash and Go using Alodia Hair care

If there is a hairstyle that I feared trying out, hands down it has to be a Wash and Go because I have never had success when I tried it out with relaxed hair so I dreaded trying it out on my natural hair. I won the Alodia wash and go kit  at their pop up event and it took a month for me to actually try it out! Because, I was scared!! At long last I did try it out.

Alodia wash and go kit contains 4 products:

  • Alodia nourish and hydrate Shampoo with Sweet Almond, Avocado and Peppermint oil

  • Alodia nourish and hydrate deep conditioning masque with Honey, Silk Amino Acid, Avocado and Peppermint oil
  • Alodia Moisturize and define Curling cream gel with Honey, Safflower and Jojoba oil

  • Alodia Nourish and grow  healthy hair and scalp oil with Rosemary, Cedarwood and Thyme

Wash and Go:

I started by pre pooing my hair with the Alodia Nourish and grow oil for about 10 mins

I shampooed my hair using the Alodia nourish and hydrate shampoo.

I then deep conditioned using the Nourish and Hydrate deep conditioning masque covered with a plastic bag and a scarf for about an hour.

I applied the Moisturize and define curling cream and the nourish and grow oil, detangled and braided down my hair in sections and allowed it to dry until the next day.

The next day, I applied the nourish and grow oil to my hands and unravelled the braids. I fluffed out my hair to style it. The curls were EVERYTHING but I wasn’t happy with the shaping so I decided to do a fringe, half up half down hair do and BOOM!!! LOVE!!!

The wash and go was a success!! I am just sad that these products aren’t easily accessible in South Africa my first impression of them was great!  They are available online you can check out their website here.
