I picked up the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation last year when I was entering their competition when they were searching for a brand influencer! Honestly still think I was the best fit but I am sure we all are!!! I digress. I picked up the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation and concealer later on. Click here to see my previous post which is a Mini Clicks Haul.
The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation shade that I picked up is Cocoa and it retails for R 109.95 at Clicks and the Concealer is in the Shade Medium/Deep Tan and sells for R 69.95.
I had been using the foundation since last year and only started using the concealer now. I will review them separately. Lets start with the Foundation
Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation and Concealer
This foundation is full coverage and has a thick consistency. It is designed for Photographty and to avoid flash backs in your Insta pics. It is Matte and dries very quickly. It has a spatula like applicator and is long lasting. When I first started using this foundation the applicator really annoyed me until I eventually got used to it and its function. For me there is no much of a muchness, I would still go pump. The consistency is thick which gives you a full coverage and beautiful flawless finish. It does dry up so if you have dry skin, please moisturize and prime with hydrating products. For the rest of us though it is perfect because it lasts through out. I am not exaggerating when I say I say I didn’t shine up through my work day and we all know how hot South Africa has been lately. Although, it can feel a little tight but you know what, it is work it. The Shade match is good for my summer complexion but for winter I would have to go a shade up.
As mentioned in my video, I enjoy watching Foundation and Concealer from the same range reviews/ Demos. It’s interesting to see how they work and blend together so I decided to pick up this concealer for this post. I tested this foundation on cleaning my brows and highlighting. For Cleaning brows, I wouldn’t use this concealer because like the foundation it is thick. I prefer thinner concealers for more control. For highlighting I love it, the thickness ensures that it will definitely highlight. I was nervous that blending would be a mission but as it turns out it blended in quite smoothly. The shade match is perfect as well.
I am very impressed with the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation and Concealer, they are quality affordable make up which is a plus in my books. The foundation has a wide shade range which makes it all the better. Have you tried the Wet n Wild Photo Focus range?
